Program and Project Management

GEMSOC LLC has an experienced workforce that is intimately familiar with a all aspects of Program and Project Management.  We have Earned Value Management and Risk Professionals, as well as individuals experienced with the establishment and implementation of PMOs.  Our personnel are PMP and ITIL certified.  The president of the firm is a past president of the PMI WDC Chapter of the Project Management Institute where he was selected as the leader of the year for 2006.

Training

We offer a variety of courses in Systems Engineering and Project Management following the principles of the Project Management Institute's PMBOK Guide and other PMI Standards, as well as all facets of Systems Engineering including Concept and Architecture Development, Verification and Validation, and Systems Integration, to mention just a few.  We have experienced Earned Value Management, Risk Management, Systems Engineers, and Systems Integration professionals.

Process Improvement

We have individuals intimately familiar with the SEI Capability Maturity Model Integrated (CMMI) who are experienced in assisting organizations to achieve their Maturity Model Level Goals.

Strategic Planning

Knowing your current assets and where you would like to take your organization is an important step in advancement. We meet with you personally and get an understanding of your situation, goals, and objectives. We then gather all the relevant data as to how your current organization is designed and configured. We take this information and perform an analysis and provide you with a guide to achieve your goals and objectives in a cost-effective and timely manner. Planning is key to success and GEMSOC is here to assist you with the all-important planning stage.

We generally charge by the hour for our consulting services. However, some projects can occasionally be quoted at a fixed price. We often recommend to new clients that they consider this per-project option during an evaluation phase.
