GEMSOC LLC was established as a consulting firm with the intention of providing value through consulting both on-site at the client’s facilities or remotely through web technology in the areas of project management, systems engineering, and process improvement.

A. Chris Fristad, MBA, PMP, the founder and president, has over 25 years of leadership and management experience in Program, Process and Project Management.  Proven ability to rapidly assume challenging responsibilities and assure successful completion.  Skilled in facilitating communications between business and technical professionals.  Recognized for technical savvy, leadership, teambuilding, facilitation financial and contract management skills.  Strategic Planner and Organizer.   He is current Director at Large and past president of the Washington DC Chapter of the Project Management Institute and was recognized as their leader of the year in 2006.

He was a key-note speaker at the 19th International Project Management Association (IPMA) World Congress held in New Dehli in November of 2005 where he delivered a paper titled, "TLC (Teamwork, Leadership, and Communications) the Key to Project Success.  In 2007 he again visited India representing the PMI WDC Chapter and PMI to assist newly developing chapters in leadership and organization.  He delivered 8 presentations on leadership and board responsibilities in 4 days in Mumbai, Hyderabad, Bangalore and Trivandrum.

General Management Systems and Organizational Cybernetics was registered as a Limited Liability Company in February of 2008.  The Doing Business As (GEMSOC LLC) papers were filed in the Clerk’s Office of Loudoun County, Virginia in the same month.
